Built by CNB the super-yacht division of Lagoon to a very high standard, "Social Platform's" hulls are laminated with quadraxial woven cloth, carbon reinforced and vacuum bagged sandwich construction. Not be confused with the mass produced models of today. The deck is balsa composite with hardwood or aluminium inserts for deck fittings. Designed for long distance cruising with hulls designed for performance. Photo taken on delivery to Melbourne in January.. 10.4 kts boat speed in 12.4 kts wind. To satisfy the racing bug in them they did a Hamilton island series and had a few podium finishes. They say the boat has no vices, is incredibly strong, easy to handle and has a soft motion at sea even in rough conditions. The sails are excellent and the standing rigging was renewed in 2017. There is a Harken electric winch at the mast to raise the main and another electric winch in the cockpit for multifunction use.
Upon boarding you will be amazed at the spacious cockpit area with dining and seating for family and friends along with day sun beds on both port and starboard sides. As you step into the sunken lounge area with panoramic views, varnished teak cabinetry, durable composite teak and holly composite flooring throughout, a fully equipped gourmet galley and amazing panoramic views that continue back through to the aft cockpit lounge dining area, a chart table with navigation instrument repeaters, wi -fi and Bose entertainment system and an average of over 2m ceiling height throughout. Making your way down the port stairs is an amidships pilot berth with under bed front opening stainless steel fridge and freezer and plenty of storage space. Moving aft is a beautifully laid out ensuited cabin with queen bed, plenty of cupboard and draw space and a children's bed to your right as you enter. Forward is a double bed with ensuite. Starboard side aft is another ensuited queen cabin, office amidships and an ensuited double cabin forward.
